Consultation for proposed 2025-26 Declared Pest Rates 2025-26 SurveySurvey Closing Date: Midnight Thursday 22 May (AWST)Each year the Minister for Agriculture and Food consults on the proposed Declared Pest Rates for the following financial year. Consultation requirements are set in section 130 of the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management Act (2007), and the Minister consults by inviting comment on the proposed rates in accordance with the Biosecurity and Agriculture Management (Declared Pest Account) Regulations 2020 (DPA Regulations). The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) administers the consultation process. This survey will be the Minister's primary means of consultation for the proposed 2025-26 Declared Pest Rates outlined in the Public Notice. Alternatively, you can provide a response by email or post with details outlined in the Public Notice.This 5-minute survey is a great opportunity for you to contribute to the understanding of how the community views the Declared Pest Rate. All survey responses are voluntary, anonymous and will be confidential.
