Day 1 was at The SET, where we dove into product validation, commercialisation strategies, drafting business canvas and effective communication of impact to diverse audiences. We were privileged to hear from inspiring sustainability leader guest speakers Kali Norman (Atlassian Foundation), Amy Carter-James (Raaise), and Paula Taylor (COTU, West Tech Fest, First Nations X), with their QnA sessions being so valuable for the cohort.
Day 2 was a day of site visits to some amazing sustainable businesses in #regionalWA. Bettina (Tini) Quinlan and Anthony Quinlan of Soil Dynamics gave us an insightful tour of their compost facilities. We then explored the biodynamic vineyard at Stormflower Vineyard and discussed regenerative farming with owner David Martin. And then we enjoyed a wonderful networking lunch with Lachy Ritchie, CEO of Kakariki Capital, who shared his thoughts on scaling sustainable businesses.
We want to extend a huge thank you to all of our speakers and cohort. Your dedication to sustainability and innovation is truly inspiring.
