From startups specialising in aeration control to automated monitoring of livestock health, our cohort is full of incredible innovators. The four-month HARVEST program began with a two-day bootcamp at the Muresk Institute, Northam, last week, where the cohort enjoyed networking and collaborating with each other and guest speakers.
One cohort member, Ariane Platell, has undergone multiple accelerator programs for her startup QL Space, but said this one was “by far the best” given the valuable face-to-face interaction it offered participants.
"The boot camp very quickly showed us that [some] ideas aren't going to work, but not in a defeating way, it gave clarity of vision, it helped us become more streamlined in what we want to be offering. [The HARVEST program is] by far the best."

“It was really good for the businesses to be immersed on a working farm, the school of agtech surrounding them, and really just get away from the city. There are many opportunities for them to share with each other, learn from each other and I can really see potential collaborations between the cohort, which is always really exciting.”, Innovation Cluster Managing Director Dr Natasha Teakle.
